CAP013DG-TL - CAPZero Automatic X-Capacitor Discharge IC
Power Integrations CAP013DG-TL is a 1000 V CAPZero device for automatic discharge of an AC-input X capacitor through external resistors after mains removal. The D package is an SO-8, and -TL denotes tape-and-reel ordering.

Overview
CAP013DG-TL is a two-terminal CAPZero family device. With AC connected, it interrupts the continuous X-capacitor discharge-resistor current. When AC is removed, it reconnects the external resistor path. The X capacitor, R1 and R2, MOV location and surge requirements are part of the complete design.
