CAP300DG-TL from Power Integrations is an automatic safety-discharge switch for line-connected X capacitors in a tape-and-reel SO-8 package.

When AC is present, CAP300DG blocks the external discharge resistor path to reduce no-load loss. After AC removal it reconnects the path so the X capacitor discharges. External resistor and capacitor values set the time constant.
