The integrated NPU delivers up to 6 TOPS of AI performance and supports compatible INT4, INT8 and INT16 mixed-precision operations for edge inference applications.
Compatible models based on TensorFlow, MXNet, PyTorch, Caffe, PaddlePaddle and other mainstream AI frameworks can be converted and deployed through the supported development platform.
One standard Type-A HDMI output supports resolutions up to 7680 × 4320 at 60 Hz, providing detailed ultra-high-definition output for compatible displays and intelligent terminals.
One standard Type-A HDMI input supports video signals up to 4K at 60 Hz for external computers, cameras, media players and compatible video-processing applications.
The platform supports H.265 and VP9 decoding at up to 8K at 60 fps and H.265 or H.264 encoding at up to 8K at 30 fps, including simultaneous encoding and decoding.
Under compatible software configurations, the multimedia engine can support up to 32 channels of 1080p at 30 fps decoding and up to 16 channels of 1080p at 30 fps encoding.
Compatible HDMI, LVDS, MIPI and V-by-One interfaces can display different content on four screens simultaneously, improving flexibility for customized multi-screen terminals.
One V-by-One interface can directly drive compatible VBO LCD panels with resolutions up to 3840 × 2160.
One LVDS interface supports compatible single-channel or dual-channel 8-bit panels. One MIPI interface supports compatible LCD panels with multiple resolutions.
An optional eDP output can directly drive compatible eDP panels. The optional eDP output and HDMI output are mutually exclusive and depend on the selected hardware configuration.
The board supports USB flash drives, TF cards, M.2 SSDs and SATA storage devices, allowing large-capacity local storage for applications, video files and AI data.
Compatible USB monocular and binocular cameras are supported. The MIPI camera interface supports 1 × 2-lane or 2 × 2-lane configurations at up to 2.5 Gbps per lane.
Compatible MIPI camera modules with resolutions up to 5 megapixels can be supported. Maximum resolution depends on the available lane configuration and camera module.
The TIoT-3588A supports Gigabit Ethernet, 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0 and compatible Mini PCI-E 4G modules.
Android 12 is provided as the standard operating system. Linux, OpenHarmony, Kylin OS and UnionTech UOS adaptation may also be supported according to project requirements.
Operating-system customization, hardware-control APIs and reference code can be provided to support upper-layer application development and customized terminal integration.
